The Jeep Renegade is an excellent choice for anyone searching for a new compact crossover SUV! This is the most compact model Jeep has to offer, yet it still offers the ultimate combination of off-road and in-town capability. The Renegade is sporty and agile, perfect for maneuvering tight corners and tricky parking spots, as well as all the obstacles you face on your favorite off-road trail. For its 2021 model year, the Renegade is introducing some new sub-trims, such as the Jeepster and the 80th Anniversary Edition, each of which adds specialized design features to the lineup. The Jeepster plays off of the Sport trim, adding a black appearance package. The 80th Anniversary Edition commemorates Jeep’s 8-decade legacy with commemorative badging, as well as some upgraded tech features. Sport

The Sport trim starts out with a standard 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission for an output of 180 horsepower, and 175 lb-ft of torque. The Sport features a 5-seat interior with a 60/40 folding rear seat, as well as a passenger seat that can fold flat for storing larger cargo. The infotainment system is the Uconnect 4, featuring a 7-inch touchscreen display as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. New for 2021, safety features are now standard on all trim levels, including blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, and more.

Latitude

The Latitude trim also features the 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine, as well as the standard safety package. It also adds cornering fog lights, automatic headlights, and roof rails to the exterior, as well as body-colored side mirrors and door handles for a cohesive appearance. Inside, the Latitude trim offers ambient LED lighting, and a premium leather-wrapped steering wheel for a more comfortable grip. Its cloth upholstery is upgraded from the Sport trim to feel a bit more refined. Additional features include an upgraded infotainment system, tinted windows, and 17-inch alloy wheels.

Trailhawk

The Trailhawk trim shakes up the lineup with a distinctive exterior appearance. It features a black hood decal, as well as raised suspension, larger fender flares, and all-terrain tires. Though all Renegade models have off-roading abilities, the Trailhawk is the most athletic trim level of the bunch, providing some extra equipment like underbody skid plates, and a full-sized spare tire. The Trailhawk trim also features standard 4-wheel drive with hill-descent control, as well as a different engine option than the previous two trims. The Trailhawk’s standard engine is a turbocharged 1.3-liter four-cylinder that produces 177 horsepower, and 210 lb-ft of torque.

Limited

The Limited trim is the highest tier of the Jeep Renegade lineup. Like the Trailhawk, the Limited features standard 4-wheel drive, as well as the turbocharged 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine. The Limited also features leather upholstery, as well as a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel. The front seats are heated as well, and the dashboard features an 8.4-inch Uconnect 4C NAV which includes integrated navigation. Additional features include automatic windshield wipers with de-icers, keyless entry and ignition with remote start, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.
