The 2020 Ram 1500 is ready to play with a maximum towing capacity of up to 12,750 pounds. The immense capability of the Ram 1500 comes from the available 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine with eTorque Hybrid Technology. The new and improved third-generation 3.0-liter EcoDiesel engine boasts 480 lb-ft of torque and 260 horsepower. All that torque allows the diesel Ram 1500 to tow up to 12,560 pounds. The standard engine for all trim levels, however, is a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine with eTorque and 305 horsepower. All engines come paired with a Class-Exclusive TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission.
