The newly standard safety and security features are a huge attraction for the Cherokee. Beginning with the build of the body of the Cherokee, you can feel safe and secure knowing that your Cherokee is reinforced with a high-strength steel frame to help maximize crash protection and optimize vehicle dynamics. Full-speed forward collision warning with active braking will engage the brakes if a vehicle in front is too close, and you continue to approach it too rapidly! If this slight alert is not enough, the brakes will be fully engaged automatically. Lane sense lane departure warning allows the Cherokee to sense the lane you are in, and correct your steering slightly if you begin to drift off course, or into another lane while distracted. As you can tell, you and your family will be protected very well by the Jeep Cherokee.
What makes the Trailhawk ready for off-roading?
The Jeep Cherokee, while being a great SUV for cruising the streets, is also great at handling off-road terrain, specifically the Trailhawk in particular. The Trailhawk runs off of a 3.2-liter Pentastar engine that pushes out 271 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque! It has the capacity to tow up to 4,500 pounds with the Trail Rated Selec-Terrain Traction Management system which is also equipped with hill descent control and a locking rear axle that makes ascending and descending steep plains easier to handle! The Trailhawk has been outfitted with the Jeep signature red two hooks on both the front and the rear, and was designed with am exclusive fascia to give it a rugged look and make off-roading adventures easier to navigate with specially engineered departure angles!
