Could you talk about the Ram 1500’s trim levels?
There are seven 1500 trim levels offered to drivers in the 2021 model year. The base Tradesman trim comes outfitted with air conditioning, a 6-speaker sound system, an adjustable steering wheel, 18-inch steel wheels, trailer sway damping, and a 5-inch touchscreen. The more mid-level trim levels add features like LED lighting, leather upholstery, power accessories, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, side steps, front and rear parking sensors, heated and ventilated front seats, and navigation. The upper trims add a wireless charging pad, premium-leather bucket seats, power-deployable running boards, and a four-corner air suspension.
What kind of engine power does the 2021 Ram 1500 boast?
In the 2021 model year, the Ram 1500 can be powered by one of four engines. The standard engine is a 3.6L V6 that delivers 305 hp and 269 pound-feet of torque. The second engine option is a 3.0L turbodiesel V6 that produces 260 hp and 480 pound-feet of torque. The third engine option, available to most trims, is a 5.7L V8 that creates 395 hp and 410 pound-feet of torque. The last engine offered is only found under the hood of the TRX trim. This 6.2L supercharged V8 delivers 702 hp and 650 pound-feet of torque. Each of the four engines is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and both RWD and 4WD configurations are available.
