There are a number of standard features found in the base Ram 2500 trim level. They include a four-speaker sound system, a 5-inch touchscreen with Ram’s Uconnect infotainment, black vinyl flooring, a rearview camera, Bluetooth connectivity, and a split-folding bench seat. The upper trims add features like an 8.4-inch touchscreen, smartphone integration, a 9-speaker sound system, heated front seats, electronic locking front and rear differentials, navigation, LED exterior lighting, leather upholstery, heated second-row seats, and even a 12-inch touchscreen!
What kind of engine power does the 2021 Ram 2500 offer?
There are two engines powering the Ram 2500 lineup in the 2021 model year. The base engine is a 6.4-liter V8 that pumps out 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque. This engine boasts cylinder deactivation to help save fuel during light use and comes paired with an automatic 8-speed transmission. Rear-wheel drive is the default drivetrain configuration but four-wheel drive is available. The second engine offered is a 6.7-liter turbodiesel inline-6 that creates 370 horsepower and 850 pound-feet of torque. Ram pairs this engine with an automatic 6-speed transmission and rear-wheel drive is also standard while four-wheel drive is offered.
