How much torque does the 2022 Gladiator have?
The body-on-frame construction and front and rear Dana 44 solid axles allow the Gladiator to conquer any trail. The Rubicon is the rock-climber of the 2022 Gladiator range, coming standard with an electronically disconnecting anti-roll bar for optimum axle articulation. The Mojave is the desert racer of the family, fitted with special shock absorbers supplied by Fox, along with Fox hydraulic front jounce bumpers. The Rubicon has foam cell equivalents, but the hydraulic versions in the Mojave can take more punishment and provide a better ride quality at the same time. The standard engine in the 2022 Gladiator is a highly regarded 3.6-liter V6 engine that makes 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. A 6-speed manual transmission is standard, so is 4-wheel drive with a high/low transfer case. However, you can upgrade to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The turbocharged 3.0-liter diesel V6 comes paired to the 8-speed automatic transmission and delivers 260 horsepower and a meaty 442 lb-ft of torque.
What size is the bed on the Jeep Gladiator?
The cab of the 2022 Gladiator is the equivalent of a crew cab. It comes with four doors, all opening the usual way. The windshield folds down, the doors and top are removable as well. Jeep's soft top with a sunroof is the standard roof. However, a 3-piece hard top is on the options list. The three-position tailgate is a nice feature as it offers the standard open and close positions and a middle point, where the tailgate's cable leaves it partially open.
