What engines are available for the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L?
There are two terrific engine options available for the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L, and both have a ton of power! The standard option is a 3.6-liter V6 that pumps out an impressive 293 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. On the Overland and Summit trim, you have the option of a 5.7-liter V8 that ups the horsepower 357 and the torque to 390 lb-ft. No matter which one of these engines you choose, it will come paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and while rear-wheel-drive comes standard on the V6, four-wheel-drive is standard on the V8. There is no wrong choice between the V6 and the V8, as they will get you to where you want to go with ease.

The Grand Cherokee L is one of the best-equipped SUVs out there, and no matter which version you go with, you'll be assured you have all the latest features. At the midway point sits the Overland, which has more luxury and convenience features, including n adaptive suspension, hands-free liftgate operation, puddle lights, front parking sensors, self-dimming/auto-tilt driver’s-side mirror, dual-pane panoramic sunroof with powered shade, heated/ventilated front seats, power-adjustable steering column, 5-color ambient cabin lighting, wood trim, navigation. But that's not all you can get with the Overland! Several options are available, such as a specialized 4-wheel-drive system, 4-zone automatic climate control, massaging front seats, 360-degree camera system, intersection assistance, Active Driving Assist, and a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen. Finally, the top-of-the-line Summit trim rounds out the lineup with a 12-way power-adjustable front seat and a self-parking feature.
