2022 Wagoneer Power & Handling
When you take a peek under the hood of the Wagoneer, you will be presently surprised to see a 5.7-liter V8 that is capable of generating a spectacular 392 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque. This engine pairs with an incredibly smooth-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission which will get you a fantastic ride no matter where you travel. Are you looking to haul around a boat for a long vacation? You can! The Wagoneer can tow up to 10,000 pounds! On top of this extraordinary power, the Wagoneer still has quite a bit of traction thanks to three four-wheel-drive systems known as the Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac, and Quadra-Drive II. But wait, that's not all! The Wagoneer also comes with a Selec-Traction Management system with five different modes that allow the Wagoner to go over any terrain.
2022 Ford Expedition Power & Handling
With the Ford Expedition, you get two engine options, but you don't get as much power or capability compared with the Wagoneer. The standard engine is an EcoBoost 3.5-liter V6 that will get you a decent 380 horsepower. A more powerful version of this engine is only available for the High Output trim, which increases both the horsepower and torque. Both versions of this engine pair with an automatic transmission and rear-wheel-drive, though four-wheel-drive is available. Towing for the Expedition is solid as it can pull up to 9,300 pounds, which is a tad less than the Wagoneer.
2022 Wagoneer Features & Design
In addition to all of the power that Wagoneer possesses, it's also one of the best-equipped SUVs in terms of luxury and tech. There are two trim levels available for the Wagoneer. The first is the Series II which comes with a 9-speaker Alpine audio system, tri-zone climate control, Nappa leather bench seats, 22-inch alloy wheels, a front-passenger screen, and a rear-seat entertainment package with dual 10.1-inch rear screens. There is also a rear-seat entertainment system that will keep your family entertained with items like Amazon Fire TV for auto. The Series II also comes with a tri-pane sunroof, parallel and perpendicular parking programs, a 360-degree surround-view camera, and a head-up display. Need a little more? The Series III adds 22-inch wheels, a 19-speaker McIntosh MX950 audio system, a heavy-duty towing package, a tri-pane sunroof power side steps, and Intersection Collision Assist.
2022 Ford Expedition Features & Design
The Expedition tries to keep up with the Wagoneer in terms of features, but you can find most of the advanced features on higher trims only. These higher trims have a 12.4-inch high-definition gauge cluster with an information on-demand setup with off-road data, driver-assist mode, and turn-by-turn navigation. Higher trims also come with the latest version of the Ford Sync system, which has a large 12-inch touchscreen that controls your music and navigation with the simple touch of a button. Audio is provided by a Bang & Olufsen sound system with 22-speakers and 360-degree sound. On the outside of the Expedition, you get LED headlights and taillights aligned with a twin-spar mesh grille. There is a lot to like here, but the Wagoneer is more effective!
