About the Six Wrangler Engines
Yes, you read that right, the Wrangler has six available engine options, and all six are incredibly powerful. The first engine we need to talk to you about is the base 3.6-liter V6 which kicks out an astonishing 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque which you can pair with either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission, depending on your preference. An excellent option for two-door versions of the Wrangler is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder which gets you 270 horses and 295 lb-ft of torque which comes standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Four-door versions of the Wrangler have the option of a diesel-powered 3.0-liter V6 with 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. Want your Wrangler to have a ton of power for off-roading? Then you want to check out the Rubicon trim, which has a 6.4-liter V8 pounding the pavement with 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. The final engine is the 4xe, a hybrid version of the Jeep Wrangler that uses a turbocharged four-cylinder and adds a battery pack and two electric motors to create 375 horsepower, 470 lb-ft of torque, and 22 miles of all-electric range.
